Sexual Assault Forensic Evidence Collection and SANE/SAFE Certification

Sexual Assault Forensic Evidence Collection and SANE/SAFE Certification:

Our GTAs & MUTAs are trained in utilizing CPRs patient empowerment exam model to support Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) programs. Our instructors apply the techniques of our well-patient exam, focusing instruction to the needs of trauma survivors. CPR recognizes that certification requirements vary from state to state and we will work with you to accommodate the particular requirements of each state’s standard. To meet the requirements of SANE certification nationwide, our GTAs are assiduously trained to safely receive multiple speculum examinations in a single session. Instructors are also trained to ‘role play’ with SANE/SAFE students, making us an invaluable resource for your Teaching OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) or for training on trauma interview, forensic evidence collection, and documentation.
