Male Urogenital Teaching Associates (MUTAs) are men who utilize their bodies as teaching tools in the instruction of well man urogenital exam techniques. Sessions take place in your facility or other available space. One MUTA session consists of a 4:1 student to instructor ratio and runs about one and a half hours to one hour 45 minutes. During this time comprehensive urogenital techniques are taught in a step-by-step process that provides immediate feedback to your learners. Our patient empowerment model provides instruction in patient communication, relaxation techniques, patient education, and transition techniques.
CPR-te’s independent teaching modality facilitates a relaxed, judgment-free zone that empowers the learners to ask questions they may hesitate to ask otherwise. Our MUTAs are fastidiously trained in invasive clinical exam technique, have extensive knowledge of their own anatomy and are experts in the methodology of using their bodies as teaching tools. We are one of the few programs in the country who safely teach multiple sessions in a single day.
